Close to the Clifton is Victoria Park which is well worth visiting.

Victoria Park is nestled in the centre of Paignton. The highly maintained park boasts football pitches, tennis courts, basketball courts, a skate park, a well equipped children’s playground , a stream and a pond, all located in the main part of the park.

You can walk through to a smaller, quieter area under the railway line that bisects the park. This area boasts picnic areas, another stream and pond plus an exit that leads to Paignton sea front.
