A great location very welcoming owners
I felt very welcome on arrival Steve and Claire went above and beyond nothing was too much trouble. My room was bright and airy and very clean with a wonderfully comfortable bed. The breakfast looked good tasted good with plenty of choice. A fantastic location just a couple of minutes walk from the seafront, shops, restaurants and bars. Thanks again Steve and Claire. Steve and Claire who recently took over this B&B really made a huge effort to make my stay great. Nothing was too much trouble and responses to anything I needed was fast and efficient. Perfect weekend perfect hosts
Stayed at the Clifton in Paignton Devon , New owners Claire &steve were ideal hosts , Nothing was too much trouble , Rooms were fresh and clean , And bed was so comfortable , ideal position 1 minute from the front , Ideal for my early morning walk along the front , Driving all the way from Northampton and having parking right outside was perfect ,
I have always loved Devon , And finding this lovely B&B made our weekend perfect , we will definitely be regulars for Claire and Steve at the Clifton , Counting the days to go back.

Wonderful Landlady
I stayed here for a week in August and was really made to feel very welcome. The Landlady, Freda, is a lovely lady, it is very clean and the breakfast was divine. There is a bar, should you wish a drink.

Comfortable B&B
Booked this little gem a few days before travelling as we wanted to watch the Torbay Airshow, Freda and Steve were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The location is superb situated in the middle of the seafront moments from the harbour. Room was comfortable and food was lovely.

Booked on the spur of the moment but couldn't have wished for anywhere better accommodation was very homely great food and steve and freda made us feel very welcome parking sorted and just afew steps to the beach would book again

"Lovely Accommodation and Hosts
The accommodation is excellently situated just off the main beachfront and within walking distance to everything. The rooms are spacious and very clean and have the most comfy beds ! Freda and Steve made us feel most welcome and are a lovely couple offering plenty of local knowledge and places to eat and drink. There is free parking right outside which is really handy so we practically didn't have to move the car all weekend. The breakfast was superb and Steve makes the best poached eggs ! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

A unique hotel. Excellent value. Very clean. Caring hosts. Comfortable lounge with bar. Ideally located - 2 minute walk to sea front. 5 minute walk to station and town centre. Parking available. High quality food for your choice of breakfast and dinners freshly purchased on the day. My daughter is a coeliac and each course of every meal was lovingly prepared to cater for her needs.

Great hosts
We used the hotel as a base to travel around different places. It is comfortable and clean, and the hosts Freda and Steve were lovely - great humour - nothing too much trouble, and the food was fabulous! Would recommend to anyone staying in Paignton. We had breakfast and evening meal, and so had no worries about finding somewhere that had nice food - it was all there!
A comfortable niche for the single traveller
The proprietors, Freda and Steve, do their best to make each guest feel really welcome. As a single guest, I found the Clifton very good value. The atmosphere was friendly and homely, so unlike some other hotels I've stayed at, and I very much enjoyed the relaxed conversation amongst guests over the truly excellent dinners provided by Steve.
My room was adequate with a very comfortable double bed and nice extra touches.
Freda is an attentive, interesting hostess and the provision of a lounge/bar with very welcoming chairs, newspapers and games is a great bonus.

Overnight stay on spec
On arrival we were warmly greeted by Freda and after booking in shown to our room. Freda made a point of getting to know our names and introducing us to Steve. A nicer lady you would go far to find, we were made extremely welcome.. Our room was lovely a twin room which was spacious clean and had some lovely finishing touches Breakfast was very well cooked and food was of plenty which set us up well for the day. lots of choices to be had from the fruit juices and cereal to any variety of cooked breakfast that you wish and an added nicety of homemade marmalade .. its a shame our visit was brief as I am certain that the dinner that could be pre ordered would have been wonderful. I would and will certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family and hope to pay them a return visit as soon as possible. A stones throw from the seafront and all amenities. Thanks Freda and Steve.

A truly remarkable stay
The location was fantastic, minutes walking from both sea front and town centre. Our room was spotless, spacious, with a very comfy bed and good shower. Nothing was too much trouble for Freda and Steve, and the tales of their many travels were wonderful. Steve's breakfasts really set you up for the day, with a good choice of cooked food and cereals and juices and the evening meal we had during our stay (Steve's lovely roast) was delicious. Their local knowledge was very helpful and being given the local "passport" with various discounts etc. on arrival proved extremely useful. Would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone considering a holiday in Paignton (in fact we already have!)
Lovely May bank holiday weekend stay
Stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend & we took his mum too for a birthday get away. Booked 2 double rooms. Freda & Steve, the owners were very welcoming & hospitable. Our rooms were cosy and the beds comfortable. Freda was the perfect front of house host. We all recommend a stay in this lovely b&b a stones throw away from the seafront with parking.

A Truly Excellent B & B
We absolutely loved the Clifton and highly recommend it to anyone wanting great accommodations, a great location, and you not only get a full breakfast but they offer fantastic dinners, along with a full bar. It is centrally located, close to the beach, shops and transportation to wherever you want to go in the area. The owners, Freda and Steve are world travellers and we loved hearing about their adventures. They also know the local area like the back of their hand and can direct you to some great attractions and hiking trails. We stayed at the Clifton 10 years ago and loved it then and loved it even more this trip as they continue to upgrade the rooms. Fantastic stay!
Just came back from our stay at The Clifton and would most certainly recommend it! We were made to feel like visiting friends from the moment we arrived. The position of The Clifton is perfect, a 2 min walk to the seafront and seaside shops/arcades and a 5 min walk to the main town. Breakfast is served between 8.30-9 and there is a variety of fresh, high quality options to choose from. We look forward to staying here again next time we are in Paignton.

Consistently Delightful
This was our third time staying at the Clifton with Freda and Steve and we are happy to report that it was as excellent as the first time we stayed in 2011.
The welcome as always was friendly with a choice of drinks and biscuits on arrival, we arrived at the same time as another couple and Steve and Freda ensured that we were both equally warmly received.
We had booked a three night break but as we were enjoying ourself so much extended our stay.
We stayed on a half board basis and the food, prepared on the whole freshly from scratch with an honesty about the very few things that were not, was of the high standard we have come to know and trust at the Clifton. Steve remains a passionate and adventurous chef trying new dishes to delight and surprise every palette and include special diets. If you are coeliac, his flour less chocolate cake will not disappoint either a special dietary requirement or a chocoholics dreams.
Freda and Steve's hospitality and local area knowledge will ensure you will have a wonderful break and that you will get the most from your time visiting the area's many attractions.

We cannot say enough good about this delightful hotel, but our reluctance to leave and our longing to return may show you the reader just how much we love staying at the Clifton.
Excellent Hotel
I picked this hotel as a surprise for my partner as I was taking her to Paignton to visit her sister and nieces, excellent, last check in was 8pm and I requested a possible later check in as was traveling from Warrington, wasn't a issue, arrived earlier then expected to a great welcome, offered drinks while filling in registration card, shown us to our room, lovely spacious double, well looked after, lovely furniture modern design, we were here for two nights, breakfast was fast and lovely and was a wide selection of cereals and yogurts plus fully cooked breakfasts. Overall great experience and will stay there again when in Paignton , 3 min walk to seaside, excellent :-)

Lucky find!!
We booked a short break at the last minute and randomly stumbled across this hotel, well what luck!! Such a personal approach to the guests. We called ahead and were welcomed to check in early and leave our stuff in the room as the room wasn't in use the previous night. We were greeted by Steve and then Freda who instantly made us feel welcome, supplied us with any drinks we wanted whilst we filled registration card in, and made sure anything we required was catered for. The room was spacious and clean and the general feel of the place was home from home, We will definitely go back.

This was a most wonderful holiday. From the very moment we arrived at the Clifton hotel Freda and Steve made us most welcome. We were welcomed with choice of drinks and provided with biscuits. They were both very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The bed was comfortable, the room was very beautiful, clean and tidy and the shower was excellent we could not asked for much more it was very much to our satisfaction.
We were never bored Freda told us about all the entertainment going on around the area and even gave us booklets. We never got lost she was absolutely wonderful she gave us all the directions we needed to get to places.
We only stayed for breakfast but every morning there were a wide range of choices for breakfast nothing was never too much for them they asked if you were ok and made sure you were happy with the service you was being provided with.
I would definitely recommend this hotel . The service excellent, with polite friendly faces. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely hotel with lovely hosts
We stayed room number 1 for 2 nights of our honeymoon at the end of May, the room was lovely, large and bright. Freda and Steve were lovely hosts and the breakfasts were yummy! :-) The hotel is central so extremely handy for all the shops, pubs and the railway station, and we had the benefit of being able to park.

One Night Stay
Steve and Freda are great hosts. Although we only stayed one night, whilst on a walking holiday, they made us very welcome, and Steve provided very good food (evening meal and full English breakfast) as well.
Freda even organized for some of my belongings to be returned home, so an extra special thank you, and a good indicator of how well you can expect to be treated, without ever feeling the attention is obtrusive.

Overnight stay whilst doing the SW Coast Path
This was one of the best B&B we stayed at during our latest stage of the South West Coastal Path walk. Freda and Steve were fantastic hosts - welcoming on arrival and very attentive without being intrusive during our short stay. The went the extra mile when one of our group needed to send to some clothes home . Accommodation very comfortable and Steve cooked some great food for us. No hesitation in making a recommendation

Last minute bank holiday stay
Stayed here for one night over the bank holiday, Freda was lovely couldn't do enough for you, gave us tea on arrival and our rooms were ready to go to. You have to pre order your breakfast the night before but that wasn't a problem. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. There is plenty of parking and only a minutes walk from the sea front, if your looking for a comfortable stay then this is for you.

Another fab stay....love it!!
We had our 5th visit here as a family - kids/grandkids and grandparents from end of July into first week in August, and as always we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The meals were superb, rooms lovely and clean, plus everything you need on the doorstep, it's so close to beach and shops. Plus, as always, Freda and Steve were wonderful hosts. It's like home from home, so cosy. We didn't want to go home: - we wouldn't stay anywhere else other than The Clifton at Paignton. Thank you Freda and Steve, from the Avery family.

Stayed here for one night over the bank holiday, Freda was lovely couldn't do enough for you, gave us tea on arrival and our rooms were ready to go to. You have to pre order your breakfast the night before but that wasn't a problem. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. There is plenty of parking and only a minutes walk from the sea front, if your looking for a comfortable stay then this is for you.

We had our 5th visit here as a family - kids/grandkids and grandparents from end of July into first week in August, and as always we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The meals were superb, rooms lovely and clean, plus everything you need on the doorstep, it's so close to beach and shops. Plus, as always, Freda and Steve were wonderful hosts. It's like home from home, so cosy. We didn't want to go home: - we wouldn't stay anywhere else other than The Clifton at Paignton. Thank you Freda and Steve, from the Avery family.

Booked this little gem a few days before travelling as we wanted to watch the Torbay Airshow, Freda and Steve were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The location is superb situated in the middle of the seafront moments from the harbour. Room was comfortable and food was lovely.

The accommodation is excellently situated just off the main beachfront and within walking distance to everything. The rooms are spacious and very clean and have the most comfy beds ! Freda and Steve made us feel most welcome and are a lovely couple offering plenty of local knowledge and places to eat and drink. There is free parking right outside which is really handy so we practically didn't have to move the car all weekend. The breakfast was superb and Steve makes the best poached eggs ! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

We used the hotel as a base to travel around different places. It is comfortable and clean, and the hosts Freda and Steve were lovely - great humour - nothing too much trouble, and the food was fabulous! Would recommend to anyone staying in Paignton. We had breakfast and evening meal, and so had no worries about finding somewhere that had nice food - it was all there!
A comfortable niche for the single traveller
The proprietors, Freda and Steve, do their best to make each guest feel really welcome. As a single guest, I found the Clifton very good value. The atmosphere was friendly and homely, so unlike some other hotels I've stayed at, and I very much enjoyed the relaxed conversation amongst guests over the truly excellent dinners provided by Steve.
My room was adequate with a very comfortable double bed and nice extra touches.
Freda is an attentive, interesting hostess and the provision of a lounge/bar with very welcoming chairs, newspapers and games is a great bonus.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by Freda and after booking in shown to our room. Freda made a point of getting to know our names and introducing us to Steve. A nicer lady you would go far to find, we were made extremely welcome.. Our room was lovely a twin room which was spacious clean and had some lovely finishing touches Breakfast was very well cooked and food was of plenty which set us up well for the day. lots of choices to be had from the fruit juices and cereal to any variety of cooked breakfast that you wish and an added nicety of homemade marmalade .. its a shame our visit was brief as I am certain that the dinner that could be pre ordered would have been wonderful. I would and will certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family and hope to pay them a return visit as soon as possible. A stones throw from the seafront and all amenities. A truly rearkable stay
The location was fantastic, minutes walking from both sea front and town centre. Our room was spotless, spacious, with a very comfy bed and good shower. Nothing was too much trouble for Freda and Steve, and the tales of their many travels were wonderful. Steve's breakfasts really set you up for the day, with a good choice of cooked food and cereals and juices and the evening meal we had during our stay (Steve's lovely roast) was delicious. Their local knowledge was very helpful and being given the local "passport" with various discounts etc. on arrival proved extremely useful. Would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone considering a holiday in Paignton (in fact we already have!)
Lovely May bank holiday weekend stay
Stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend & we took his mum too for a birthday get away. Booked 2 double rooms. Freda & Steve, the owners were very welcoming & hospitable. Our rooms were cosy and the beds comfortable. Freda was the perfect front of house host. We all recommend a stay in this lovely b&b a stones throw away from the seafront with parking.

We absolutely loved the Clifton and highly recommend it to anyone wanting great accommodations, a great location, and you not only get a full breakfast but they offer fantastic dinners, along with a full bar. It is centrally located, close to the beach, shops and transportation to wherever you want to go in the area. The owners, Freda and Steve are world travelers and we loved hearing about their adventures. They also know the local area like the back of their hand and can direct you to some great attractions and hiking trails. We stayed at the Clifton 10 years ago and loved it then and loved it even more this trip as they continue to upgrade the rooms. Just came back from our stay at The Clifton and would most certainly recommend it! We were made to feel like visiting friends from the moment we arrived. The position of The Clifton is perfect, a 2 min walk to the seafront and seaside shops/arcades and a 5 min walk to the main town. Breakfast is served between 8.30-9 and there is a variety of fresh, high quality options to choose from. We look forward to staying here again next time we are in paignton.

This was our third time staying at the Clifton with Freda and Steve and we are happy to report that it was as excellent as the first time we stayed in 2011.
The welcome as always was friendly with a choice of drinks and biscuits on arrival, we arrived at the same time as another couple and Steve and Freda ensured that we were both equally warmly received.
We had booked a three night break but as we were enjoying ourself so much extended our stay.
We stayed on a half board basis and the food, prepared on the whole freshly from scratch with an honesty about the very few things that were not, was of the high standard we have come to know and trust at the Clifton. Steve remains a passionate and adventurous chef trying new dishes to delight and surprise every palette and include special diets. If you are coeliac, his flour less chocolate cake will not disappoint either a special dietary requirement or a chocoholics dreams.
Freda and Steve's hospitality and local area knowledge will ensure you will have a wonderful break and that you will get the most from your time visiting the area's many attractions.

I picked this hotel as a surprise for my partner as I was taking her to Paignton to visit her sister and nieces, excellent, last check in was 8pm and I requested a possible later check in as was traveling from Warrington, wasn't a issue, arrived earlier then expected to a great welcome, offered drinks while filling in registration card, shown us to our room, lovely spacious double, well looked after, lovely furniture modern design, we were here for two nights, breakfast was fast and lovely and was a wide selection of cereals and yogurts plus fully cooked breakfasts. Overall great experience and will stay there again when in Paignton , 3 min walk to seaside, excellent :-)

Lucky find!!
We booked a short break at the last minute and randomly stumbled across this hotel, well what luck!! Such a personal approach to the guests. We called ahead and were welcomed to check in early and leave our stuff in the room as the room wasn't in use the previous night. We were greeted by Steve and then Freda who instantly made us feel welcome, supplied us with any drinks we wanted whilst we filled registration card in, and made sure anything we required was catered for. The room was spacious and clean and the general feel of the place was home from home, We will definitely go back.

This was a most wonderful holiday. From the very moment we arrived at the Clifton hotel Freda and Steve made us most welcome. We were welcomed with choice of drinks and provided with biscuits. They were both very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The bed was comfortable, the room was very beautiful, clean and tidy and the shower was excellent we could not asked for much more it was very much to our satisfaction.
We were never bored Freda told us about all the entertainment going on around the area and even gave us booklets. We never got lost she was absolutely wonderful she gave us all the directions we needed to get to places.
We only stayed for breakfast but every morning there were a wide range of choices for breakfast nothing was never too much for them they asked if you were ok and made sure you were happy with the service you was being provided with.
I would definitely recommend this hotel . The service excellent, with polite friendly faces. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed room number 1 for 2 nights of our honeymoon at the end of May, the room was lovely, large and bright. Freda and Steve were lovely hosts and the breakfasts were yummy! :-) The hotel is central so extremely handy for all the shops, pubs and the railway station, and we had the benefit of being able to park.

Steve and Freda are great hosts. Although we only stayed one night, whilst on a walking holiday, they made us very welcome, and Steve provided very good food (evening meal and full English breakfast) as well.
Freda even organized for some of my belongings to be returned home, so an extra special thank you, and a good indicator of how well you can expect to be treated, without ever feeling the attention is obtrusive.

We had our 5th visit here as a family - kids/grandkids and grandparents from end of July into first week in August, and as always we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The meals were superb, rooms lovely and clean, plus everything you need on the doorstep, it's so close to beach and shops. Plus, as always, Freda and Steve were wonderful hosts. It's like home from home, so cosy. We didn't want to go home: - we wouldn't stay anywhere else other than The Clifton at Paignton. Thank you Freda and Steve, from the Avery family.

Booked this little gem a few days before travelling as we wanted to watch the Torbay Airshow, Freda and Steve were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The location is superb situated in the middle of the seafront moments from the harbour. Room was comfortable and food was lovely.

The accommodation is excellently situated just off the main beachfront and within walking distance to everything. The rooms are spacious and very clean and have the most comfy beds ! Freda and Steve made us feel most welcome and are a lovely couple offering plenty of local knowledge and places to eat and drink. There is free parking right outside which is really handy so we practically didn't have to move the car all weekend. The breakfast was superb and Steve makes the best poached eggs ! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

A unique hotel. Excellent value. Very clean. Caring hosts. Comfortable lounge with bar. Ideally located - 2 minute walk to sea front. 5 minute walk to station and town centre. Parking available. We used the hotel as a base to travel around different places. It is comfortable and clean, and the hosts Freda and Steve were lovely - great humour - nothing too much trouble, and the food was fabulous! Would recommend to anyone staying in Paignton. We had breakfast and evening meal, and so had no worries about finding somewhere that had nice food - it was all there!
A comfortable niche for the single traveller
The proprietors, Freda and Steve, do their best to make each guest feel really welcome. As a single guest, I found the Clifton very good value. The atmosphere was friendly and homely, so unlike some other hotels I've stayed at, and I very much enjoyed the relaxed conversation amongst guests over the truly excellent dinners provided by Steve.
My room was adequate with a very comfortable double bed and nice extra touches.
Freda is an attentive, interesting hostess and the provision of a lounge/bar with very welcoming chairs, newspapers and games is a great bonus.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by Freda and after booking in shown to our room. Freda made a point of getting to know our names and introducing us to Steve. A nicer lady you would go far to find, we were made extremely welcome.. Our room was lovely a twin room which was spacious clean and had some lovely finishing touches Breakfast was very well cooked and food was of plenty which set us up well for the day. lots of choices to be had from the fruit juices and cereal to any variety of cooked breakfast that you wish and an added nicety of homemade marmalade .. its a shame our visit was brief as I am certain that the dinner that could be pre ordered would have been wonderful. I would and will certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family and hope to pay them a return visit as soon as possible. A stones throw from the seafront and all amenities. A truly rearkable stay
The location was fantastic, minutes walking from both sea front and town centre. Our room was spotless, spacious, with a very comfy bed and good shower. Nothing was too much trouble for Freda and Steve, and the tales of their many travels were wonderful. Steve's breakfasts really set you up for the day, with a good choice of cooked food and cereals and juices and the evening meal we had during our stay (Steve's lovely roast) was delicious. Their local knowledge was very helpful and being given the local "passport" with various discounts etc. on arrival proved extremely useful. Would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone considering a holiday in Paignton (in fact we already have!)
Lovely May bank holiday weekend stay
Stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend & we took his mum too for a birthday get away. Booked 2 double rooms. Freda & Steve, the owners were very welcoming & hospitable. Our rooms were cosy and the beds comfortable. Freda was the perfect front of house host. We all recommend a stay in this lovely b&b a stones throw away from the seafront with parking.

A Truly Excellent B & B
We absolutely loved the Clifton and highly recommend it to anyone wanting great accommodations, a great location, and you not only get a full breakfast but they offer fantastic dinners, along with a full bar. It is centrally located, close to the beach, shops and transportation to wherever you want to go in the area. The owners, Freda and Steve are world travelers and we loved hearing about their adventures. They also know the local area like the back of their hand and can direct you to some great attractions and hiking trails. We stayed at the Clifton 10 years ago and loved it then and loved it even more this trip as they continue to upgrade the rooms. Fantastic stay!
Just came back from our stay at The Clifton and would most certainly recommend it! We were made to feel like visiting friends from the moment we arrived. The position of The Clifton is perfect, a 2 min walk to the seafront and seaside shops/arcades and a 5 min walk to the main town. Breakfast is served between 8.30-9 and there is a variety of fresh, high quality options to choose from. We look forward to staying here again next time we are in paignton.

Consistently Delightful
This was our third time staying at the Clifton with Freda and Steve and we are happy to report that it was as excellent as the first time we stayed in 2011.
The welcome as always was friendly with a choice of drinks and biscuits on arrival, we arrived at the same time as another couple and Steve and Freda ensured that we were both equally warmly received.
We had booked a three night break but as we were enjoying ourself so much extended our stay.
We stayed on a half board basis and the food, prepared on the whole freshly from scratch with an honesty about the very few things that were not, was of the high standard we have come to know and trust at the Clifton. Steve remains a passionate and adventurous chef trying new dishes to delight and surprise every palette and include special diets. If you are coeliac, his flour less chocolate cake will not disappoint either a special dietary requirement or a chocoholics dreams.
Freda and Steve's hospitality and local area knowledge will ensure you will have a wonderful break and that you will get the most from your time visiting the area's many attractions.

I picked this hotel as a surprise for my partner as I was taking her to Paignton to visit her sister and nieces, excellent, last check in was 8pm and I requested a possible later check in as was traveling from Warrington, wasn't a issue, arrived earlier then expected to a great welcome, offered drinks while filling in registration card, shown us to our room, lovely spacious double, well looked after, lovely furniture modern design, we were here for two nights, breakfast was fast and lovely and was a wide selection of cereals and yogurts plus fully cooked breakfasts. Overall great experience and will stay there again when in Paignton , 3 min walk to seaside, excellent :-)

Lucky find!!
We booked a short break at the last minute and randomly stumbled across this hotel, well what luck!! Such a personal approach to the guests. We called ahead and were welcomed to check in early and leave our stuff in the room as the room wasn't in use the previous night. We were greeted by Steve and then Freda who instantly made us feel welcome, supplied us with any drinks we wanted whilst we filled registration card in, and made sure anything we required was catered for. The room was spacious and clean and the general feel of the place was home from home, We will definitely go back.

This was a most wonderful holiday. From the very moment we arrived at the Clifton hotel Freda and Steve made us most welcome. We were welcomed with choice of drinks and provided with biscuits. They were both very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The bed was comfortable, the room was very beautiful, clean and tidy and the shower was excellent we could not asked for much more it was very much to our satisfaction.
We were never bored Freda told us about all the entertainment going on around the area and even gave us booklets. We never got lost she was absolutely wonderful she gave us all the directions we needed to get to places.
We only stayed for breakfast but every morning there were a wide range of choices for breakfast nothing was never too much for them they asked if you were ok and made sure you were happy with the service you was being provided with.
I would definitely recommend this hotel . The service excellent, with polite friendly faces. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed room number 1 for 2 nights of our honeymoon at the end of May, the room was lovely, large and bright. Freda and Steve were lovely hosts and the breakfasts were yummy! :-) The hotel is central so extremely handy for all the shops, pubs and the railway station, and we had the benefit of being able to park.

One Night Stay
Steve and Freda are great hosts. Although we only stayed one night, whilst on a walking holiday, they made us very welcome, and Steve provided very good food (evening meal and full English breakfast) as well.
Freda even organized for some of my belongings to be returned home, so an extra special thank you, and a good indicator of how well you can expect to be treated, without ever feeling the attention is obtrusive.

This was one of the best B&B we stayed at during our latest stage of the South West Coastal Path walk. Freda and Steve were fantastic hosts - welcoming on arrival and very attentive without being intrusive during our short stay. Stayed here for one night over the bank holiday, Freda was lovely couldn't do enough for you, gave us tea on arrival and our rooms were ready to go to. You have to pre order your breakfast the night before but that wasn't a problem. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. We can't praise Freda & Steve enough , we booked 27.6.16 to 2.7.16 We arrived early and were fortunate enough to be able to book in at that time and Nothing was too much for Freda & Steve , our rooms were spotless and comfortable. The location was 2 minutes walk to the beach & shops. The Breakfast was extremely delicious with both Full English and a great selection of Cereals , fruit juices and fresh fruit plus yogurts. Very convenient for a few days adventuring without the car. Using train, busses, boat and feet!
Very nice room with very big comfortable bed. Could have done with a little more room in the the lovely clean modern bathroom.
